After reports of Arab youth filming buildings in central cities across the country, the Israeli police are addressing the phenomenon and state that it is not related to national incidents. They are urging the public to continue reporting anything suspicious.

In the police statement, it is written: "In the past few hours, several incidents have been reported on social media where individuals appear suspiciously near residential buildings, and they seem to be filming the premises."

The police emphasize that "in all the incidents examined by the police, there is no suspicion of hostile destructive activity. In general, and especially these days, any report of this kind is promptly and thoroughly handled by the thousands of police officers and combatants who are deployed throughout the cities, fully prepared for any scenario."

At the end of the message, it is written: "The Israel Police is here and calls on citizens to remain vigilant and to contact the 100 emergency hotline in real-time during any unusual event. In order to prevent panic, the public is kindly requested not to forward these messages on social media but rather to report them to the police for law enforcement without delay."

Additionally, this morning, Israel Police Spokesperson Eli Levi clarified that the Shin Bet is investigating whether there is foreign state involvement in the dissemination of the images.
