The Front in Judea and Samaria: The IDF Arrested 49 Wanted Persons, Weapons were Confiscated

Fighting on all fronts: The IDF has arrested 49 terror operatives in Judea and Samaria, including 33 Hamas members. Additionally, substantial funds and various combat equipment were seized. During the operations, clashes occurred with Palestinian rioters.

Simultaneously with the southern front, security forces arrested 49 wanted individuals in Judea and Samaria overnight (between Saturday and Sunday), including 33 Hamas activists. Additionally, combat equipment and terror funds were seized.

During the soldiers' operations throughout Judea and Samaria, dozens of wanted individuals, suspected of involvement in terrorist activities, were arrested. Large sums of money, totaling 50,000 shekels, were also confiscated.

According to the IDF announcement, in the operation conducted in the village of Kfar Tel, numerous combat tools were seized, including a gun, Kalashnikov and M16 rifles, cartridges and military equipment. In another raid in the village of Yabed, over 50,000 shekels intended for terrorist activities were seized. Additionally, in the villages of Beit Ummar and Beit Rima, air guns and rifles were confiscated.

Additionally, during the operation in the village of Katanah in the Benjamin region, a violent disturbance occurred, including stone-throwing and the hurling of blocks and explosives. The IDF responded with gunfire. In the Jilazoun refugee camp, a violent disturbance took place, which involved stone-throwing, the hurling of explosives, and Molotov cocktails. Security forces responded with means to disperse the protests.

The IDF emphasizes that since the beginning of the conflict, approximately 330 wanted individuals have been arrested in the regions of the Judea and Samaria Division and the Jordan Valley Division. More than 190 of them are affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization.
