The Families' Headquarters for the Return of the Captives and the Missing, which includes over 800 families and thousands of volunteers, presented its demands this evening. The negotiation team representing the families is led by Uri Slonim, David Meidan, Shimshon Liebman, and Yaakov Perry.
The legal team that will assist in various legal aspects, both domestically and internationally, including defining Hamas's actions as war crimes and crimes against humanity, will be led by Raz Nazri and Dan Eldad.
The demands of the headquarters of the families are:
War crime – Holding the hostages, including infants, children, women, wounded individuals, and the elderly, is a war crime and a crime against humanity. We demand the immediate release of all the abducted hostages – civilians and soldiers alike, as holding them is contrary to international law.
Humanitarian corridor – Among the hostages, there are chronically ill individuals, wounded persons, and the elderly who require a regular supply of medicine and medical assistance. We demand the immediate authorization of a humanitarian corridor for the delivery of essential medicines and equipment. Furthermore, we insist that all the abducted hostages are examined by a doctor.
Involvement of Arab World Leaders – We request the involvement and assistance of the heads and leaders of neighboring states and the entire region for the immediate release of the abducted hostages.
