A young man, approximately 20 years old, was moderately injured as a result of gunfire near the tunnels checkpoint. Magen David Adom paramedics provided him with medical treatment, and he was transported to Shaare Zedek Hospital suffering from penetrating injuries to his limbs.
Magen David Adom paramedic Nadav Taib and Magen David Adom paramedic Abba Richman reported: "The injured person was lying on the road, fully conscious, and suffering from a penetrating injury to his lower abdomen. We provided him with medical treatment, which included bandaging, and we transferred him to Magen David Adom's intensive care ambulance for transportation to the hospital in moderate condition."
"Prepared for any scenario"
The head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council and Chairman of the Judea and Samaria Council, Shlomo Ne'eman, in response to the shooting attack, said: "The IDF and all security forces are on high alert and prepared for any scenario. We ask the residents to carry their weapons with all available ammunition and to be vigilant. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured and strengthen the hands of our soldiers at every location, reminding that there is no place in hospitals for injured terrorists."
