The commander of the 202 "Tzefa" (viper) paratroop battalion provided a briefing for his subordinates and soldiers after the fighting in Kfar Aza. He began by summarizing the day's fighting: "Yesterday, from 11:00 until today (Monday night), we were in Kfar Aza after very significant fighting. We killed, at least what we counted on our hands, a minimum of 20 terrorists in face to face encounters, grenades, Lau missiles, fire, and more. Beyond those we killed, many more terrorists died in these or other circumstances. We cleared most of the settlement from the enemy, and 505 Brigade replaced us, reserve fighters, amazing guys."
"They Should Just Free the Battalion and Let Us Kill the Enemy"
After summarizing activity in Kfar Aza, the battalion commander began to describe their next mission. "We need to restore the previous situation, deliver the war into their territory, and we will do this. We did it a few hours ago and we all do it again throughout all the Perimeter, whether it's regular battalions or reserve battalions, doesn't matter who, we're all together. And I tell you they won't be sorry for the day they planned this action, they'll be sorry for the day they were even born."
