The Home Front Command has issued exceptional guidelines for the public this evening, calling on residents to gather supplies that will enable them to stay in a protected area for 3 days.

The list of supplies includes: a supply of water of 3 liters per person per day for 72 hours, dry and preserved food, lighting equipment or flashlights powered by batteries, means of receiving alerts and updates – a battery-operated radio and portable batteries for mobile phones, medications, a first aid kit, personal documents, certificates, cash, and equipment for infants or pets, according to the family's needs.

"In light of the development of the fighting in various sectors, you should prepare equipment that will allow you and your family to stay in a secure space for up to 72 hours," the announcement said. However, the IDF clarified that there is no change in the Home Front Command's guidelines, as these are general recommendations and notifications to the public regarding staying prepared and equipped in a secure space.

At the same time, the Home Front Command updated the security guidelines for the public. Restrictions on gatherings in the north have now been added due to earlier infiltration by terrorists from the Lebanon border today. According to the new guidelines, in communities along the confrontation line and the Golan Heights, outdoor gatherings will be limited to up to 30 people, and indoor gatherings can have up to 300 people. Activities can be carried out in workplaces in locations where it is possible to reach a proper protected space during the time of defense.

In the rest of the country, the guidelines will remain unchanged: in communities in the Gaza envelope, the Negev, the Shfela region, Gush Dan, Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem, there will be no classes, including special education. In addition, gatherings of up to 10 people will be allowed in open areas and up to 50 people in buildings. Beaches are closed to the public, and workplaces will be opened if they have a proper protected space. These guidelines will be in effect until Tuesday at 18:00.
