The spokesperson of the IDF conveyed this evening to the media that "We are cleansing the area and targeting terrorists wherever they are found; there is still an enemy in the territory."

He further stated, "We have destroyed 800 targets in Gaza; Hamas has inflicted a major disaster on the residents of the strip. Hundreds killed and thousands wounded. We have captured dozens of terrorists in captivity, even in the last few hours."

The spokesperson addressed public concerns and stated that "There is a place for tough questions and thorough investigation, but right now, we are at war and focused on striking the enemy and winning. Any gathering place will be attacked - regarding captives, we are monitoring. But at the moment, we are concentrating on the battle. The Chief of Staff is working around the clock to protect Israeli citizens and will address the public later."
