Ahead of the sale of "Arrow 3": Gallant visited Germany

Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant embarked on an official visit to Germany, where he will meet with the German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and participate in the signing ceremony of a document to promote the sale of the "Arrow 3" system

The Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, will depart tomorrow (Wednesday) for an official diplomatic visit to Berlin, the capital of Germany. There, he will meet with the German Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, and discuss security threats and regional challenges in the Middle East and Europe.

During the visit, Gallant will participate in the signing ceremony of the document for the implementation of the sale of the "Arrow 3" system, produced by the Aerospace Industry. He will sign a joint declaration with his German counterpart aimed at strengthening the security relations between Israel and Germany. It is also noted that the minister will hold an appreciation evening for the joint teams that worked to advance the sale deal and visit the "Wharf 17" monument, where he will lay a wreath in memory of Holocaust victims.

In the Ministry of Defense, it was noted that the Minister of Defense will be accompanied on his trip by the Director-General of the Ministry of Defense, Major General (Res.) Eyal Zamir, Head of MAFAT (Administration for the Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure), Brigadier General (Res.) Danny Gold, and the Head of the Homa Directorate at the Ministry of Defense, Moshe Fattal. The CEO and President of the aerospace industry, which manufactures and markets the "Arrow 3" system, will also join the signing ceremony.
