Netanyahu's entourage published the first reference to the drama surrounding the reports of the transfer of weapons and armored vehicles to the Palestinian Authority.

Prime Minister Netanyahu's office stated, in response to reports of transfers of weapons and vehicles to the Palestinian Authority, that: "These are remnants of a decision from the days of Bennett."

The announcement from the Prime Minister's Office comes after clarifications from the Defense Minister's Office, which announced that despite the reports, no weapons were transferred to the Palestinian Authority, but only armored vehicles, the minister's office stated in response to reporters' inquiries that: "Contrary to the false representation emerging from the various reports, since Defense Minister Yoav Gallant took office, the transfer of lethal weapons or weapons to the Palestinian Authority has not been approved. Any attempt to present things differently is false and a sin against the truth."

The Regional Cooperation Unit, which is responsible for the general and security coordination with the Palestinian Authority, joined the denial and announced: "There is no basis for the various publications on the subject. We will clarify that no weapons were transferred to the Palestinian Authority during the past year."

On the other hand, the National Unity Party attacked Netanyahu's words and accused: "A government that builds conspiracy theories from the security of the state and manages it in the media - is not worthy and cannot protect the security of the citizens of Israel."
