The Supreme Court is now convening for the first time in history for a hearing with a full panel of 15 judges, where the focus is on the petitions against the law to reduce the reason for reasonableness. The importance of the discussion takes on new significance in light of the fact that it is an amendment to the "Basic Law: The Judiciary", and if the judges of the High Court decided to intervene in the legislation of the Knesset, the ruling will set a dramatic legal precedent.

The hearing began at 09:00 (Israel) and will continue throughout the day, when it is expected to continue until the afternoon, this is in light of the fact that President Esther Hayut decided that there will only be one day of hearings, despite the request of the representatives of the legal advice on behalf of the government to allow another day. According to a prior decision of the court administration, the hearing from the courtroom will be broadcast live for the benefit of the general public.
