"A Scandal"

Netanyahu on Shikma Bressler's words: "a scandal"

Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to the words of Shikma Bressler, who called the right-wing representatives "Nazis", and said: "Both, contempt for the Holocaust, and wild incitement to the murder of government ministers and elected officials."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to Shikma Bressler's words, during which she attacked the attempts to talk with the coalition regarding the legal reform and said that "We don't talk to Nazis."

Although Bressler apologized for her words today, she provoked many reactions in the political system.

Netanyahu responded, as mentioned, to Bressler, saying: "I strongly condemn the words of the leader of the leftist demonstrations, Shikma Bressler, who referred to the government ministers as "Nazis".

"This scandalous statement is both contempt for the Holocaust, and wild incitement to the murder of government ministers and elected officials. The right to demonstrate is not the right to incite," Netanyahu said.

Bressler, one of the leaders of the protest against the legal reform, attacked the call for compromise talks with the president of the country, saying: "It is forbidden to talk to Nazis - Jews or non-Jews, at a table of ten people and one Nazi there are 11 Nazis. This is what is produced when the fascists are not kicked out.".

This evening she tweeted on her X (Twitter) account: "I made a mistake yesterday in my statement. I used a word that has no place in discourse. I regret and apologize for this statement. Mistakes are also part of life and our struggle for our country and our future. Only those who do not act do not make mistakes. I correct and continue ".
