Medical forces and fire and rescue forces were dispatched early in the morning to a yeshiva in Bnei Brak following a report of a fire that broke out there. MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated the 28 Yeshiva students, about 15-17 years old, who were lightly injured and were fully conscious, to the Sheba Hospitals in Tel HaShomer, Maayanei HaYeshuah and Schneider.

Medical emergency medics at MDA David Itzhaki and Yehuda Nordman said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a lot of commotion and smoke coming out of the building. About 50 Yeshiva students who came out of the building suffered from smoke inhalation, we performed an initial triage on the ground for the injured, all of them were fully conscious and in a light condition. 28 of the young people needed to be evacuated to a hospital and were taken in MDA ambulances while continuing medical treatment."
