In an interview with the 'Anashim' program on Channel 12, Hanegbi said, "I was very surprised by the strength of the protest, and I was very pleased when I realized that the predictions of the experts were not going to come true."

He then added, "In large part, this is thanks to the protest. It was the most effective factor in halting the government's original plans."
