Tragedy in Safed. A 65-year-old man perished in a caravan fire on HaNesharim Street in Safed. Another man, approximately 20 years old, was rescued from the scene in serious condition. He is suffering from severe burns to his legs and smoke inhalation.

Magen David Adom paramedics Igor Krasni and Shimon Bismut shared: "This was an extremely difficult incident. We saw the caravan engulfed in flames and completely burned. Initially, we rescued a young man in his 20s with severe burns to his legs. After he inhaled a significant amount of smoke, we provided life-saving medical treatment. We administered sedation and intubation, and urgently evacuated him to an MDA helicopter that had landed nearby. He was then transported to the hospital in serious and stable condition. Inside the caravan, we found an unconscious 65-year-old man with burns. He had no signs of life, and we had no choice but to declare him deceased."
