No governance: The Bedouin camel race in Tze'elim. Watch

The reigns in the Negev once again faded with a wild race of Bedouins galloping on camels, cars and motorcycles in the Tze'elim region. This race is held every year, yet nothing is done to stop it

(Use according to section 27a)

When we talk about zero governance in the Negev, we mean the documentation of the annual camel race of the Bedouin in the Negev.

Every year this happens, dozens of vehicles, motorcycles and camels race through the Negev lands, in firearm areas and military areas, some of the passengers hang out of the vehicle windows, some ride without protective equipment and occasionally gunshots are heard.

Although organizing such a race takes time, and has a media echo within the Bedouin communities in the Negev, neither the police nor the army do anything to stop this phenomenon, neither in real time nor after a while.
