The world-renowned rapper addressed the Republican presidential candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy, during the primaries in the United States. He even sent him a letter before filing a lawsuit after it was documented that he sang one of the famous singer's rap songs at an election rally.

The rapper contacted the company that manages his song catalog and demanded that the permission granted to Vivek to use his songs as part of his campaign efforts be revoked.

In addition to that, the rapper also sent a "cease and desist" letter to Vivek's team on behalf of his legal counsel, a letter that requests a halt before filing a lawsuit.

The rapper's letter came after a video of the candidate, who himself was a fan of Eminem and even rapped when he was younger, performing Eminem's song "Lose Yourself."

A spokesperson on behalf of the candidate responded: "Vivek was asked by an interviewer about his favorite song during an election rally, and when he answered that his favorite song is Eminem's 'Lose Yourself,' the audience started singing along, and Vivek joined them. Unfortunately, to the dismay of both us and the American public, Vivek will now have to leave the real rap to The Real Slim Shady (a nickname for Eminem)."
