The 'Otzma Yehudit' party, led by Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, announced its support for the faction "Meuhadim led by Aryeh King" for the Jerusalem City Council. This morning, an agreement was reached between the parties that King will serve as the official representative on behalf of the faction led by him, which will unite several factions and diverse groups within the Jewish, Zionist, and nationalist public in Jerusalem.
Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir stated, "We are proud to support the 'Meuhadim' faction for the city council and to present King as our representative within the faction. This decision is both fitting and natural. Jerusalem needs a loyal representative in the city council who truly understands the residents, whose personality and identity are closely tied to the Jewish and democratic values of Jerusalem, as well as its unique and historical character."
Ben Gvir added that "Aryeh King has proven himself to be a fierce warrior for the ideology and truth of the vast traditional public in the city, and only the city's well-being stands before his eyes. Throughout his long years as a public servant, King has demonstrated his loyalty to the residents, values, ideology, and voters. The 'Otzma Yehudit' party sees him as a model to emulate in the way a public representative should conduct himself, doing everything possible to ensure his success in the upcoming elections."
The leader of the "Meuhadim" faction, Aryeh King, thanked Minister Ben Gvir for his strong support. "I thank Minister Ben Gvir for his support and the support of the 'Otzma Yehudit' party for the 'Meuhadim' faction in the Jerusalem City Council. I am working diligently to provide the broader public in the city with an ideological home they can truly identify with."
"We continue to work tirelessly to promote and enhance the Zionist, Jewish, and democratic representation in the municipality, to unite communities and factions, and to act with strength according to the Jewish values that have been rooted in this city for thousands of years. We are extending a wide embrace for the right-wing and religious public throughout the city, and in the 'Meuhadim' faction, we are incorporating diverse sectors, so that everyone will have an ideological framework to shelter under."
