IDF soldiers, the Israeli Security Agency, and the Border Police operated last night (between Monday and Tuesday) to arrest eight wanted individuals in Judea and Samaria, as well as in the Jordan Valley and the Valleys Division.
In the village of Silwad, three wanted individuals were arrested by the soldiers. They located and confiscated two Airsoft weapons, a handgun, and an M-16 rifle. During the forces' withdrawal from the village, suspects threw stones towards them. In the village of Burqa and in the city of Hebron, three more wanted individuals were arrested. During the operation in the village of Yatta, suspects threw stones at the soldiers, who responded with means to disperse the demonstrations.
In the Ain Sultan refugee camp and in the village of Ein al-Sultan, the fighters arrested two more wanted individuals. During the operation in Ein al-Sultan, a breach of order occurred, including the throwing of Molotov cocktails towards the soldiers. The forces responded with rubber bullets and a hit was identified. Furthermore, during the operation in the refugee camp, suspects fired towards the undercover forces who responded with gunfire, hitting the suspects.
The wanted individuals arrested by the security forces and the operational units were transferred for further handling by the security forces. There are no casualties among our forces.
