Is there extraterrestrial life on Earth? On July 26, 2022, three former US military personnel testified before the Subcommittee on Oversight and Reform of the House of Representatives about encounters with non-human-related aerial phenomena, known to the public as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) and Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).
David Grusch, who served as an intelligence officer in the Air Force and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency for 14 years, testified that he is certain that the federal government holds unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). He cited interviews claiming that he engaged with 40 witnesses over a period of four years.
Additionally, Grusch revealed that he knows "colleagues" who were injured by these phenomena. He also stated that he interviewed individuals who recovered "non-human biologic materials" from those phenomena, although he himself did not personally encounter such things.
The government does not say enough about it
Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot, and David Fravor, a former Navy commander, reported seeing unidentified flying objects (UFOs) that demonstrated extraordinary flight capabilities, such as high-speed maneuvers and sudden changes in direction. They also mentioned that these objects appeared to be intelligently controlled.
The three military personnel also expressed concern about the lack of transparency regarding the government's knowledge on the subject. They said that the government warned pilots against reporting such sightings and even took action against pilots who did report them.
The lawmakers on the committee expressed concern about the implications for national security. They stated that the government needs to do more to investigate the phenomenon and develop a better understanding of what these "unidentified aerial phenomena" are and where they come from.
Inhuman tool or secret technology?
So what's next? It's important to note that the government has been monitoring the subject for decades, but there is still no consensus on what is actually being observed. Some believe that the 'non-human phenomena' are actually advanced technologies from foreign militaries, like China, for example, or even from the US military with the government unwilling to acknowledge it.
Although the discussion has raised awareness on the issue and even pressured the government to be more transparent, there is still much we don't know about these 'non-human phenomena,' and time and imagination will have to take their course.
