The death of a 37-year-old gunshot victim from Abu Snan (near Acre), who was brought to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya in critical condition and while resuscitation efforts were underway at the scene, has been confirmed.

The injured person was taken to the operating room, where resuscitation efforts continued, but the medical team was forced to declare his death. The police reported that the incident had criminal background and that an investigation has been opened.

With this, the number of homicides in the Arab sector rises to 133 since the beginning of the year.

The police reported: "The police have opened an investigation into a shooting incident in the village of Yasif, during which a man was critically injured. According to medical sources, a man in his 30s was critically injured as a result of the shooting and is currently being transferred for further medical treatment. Border police officers are conducting searches for the perpetrators, alongside evidence collection at the scene by the police investigators, as part of the opened investigation."
