So who will be in charge of immigration?!

Former President Trump is poised to name Stephen Miller, his influential immigration adviser from his first term, as White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, according to CNN.

Miller, who served as a senior adviser during Trump's first administration, has been a key architect of restrictive immigration policies. His potential appointment signals an intent to pursue aggressive immigration reform should Trump return to office.

During his work with the previous Trump administration, Miller was instrumental in shaping immigration policy. He has recently advocated for significantly expanded deportation efforts, suggesting plans to increase deportations tenfold to over one million annually.

When reached for comment, Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt kept her response brief. "The President-elect will announce his staffing decisions when they're made," she told CNN.

Miller's expected appointment to this expanded role suggests immigration will remain a cornerstone of Trump's policy agenda. This news comes as Trump's team begins to take shape ahead of a potential return to the White House.

The announcement is expected in the coming days.
