Data on the Jewish vote in the election is contradictory and "all over the map," according to Jewish Insider editor in chief Josh Kraushaar.
An AP/Fox poll shows a clear shift towards Republicans, with 66-32% for Kamala, the worst since 1988. But an Edison poll and a Democratic firm poll shows Jews voting for Kamala at over 70%, a standard rate.
However, exit polls from specific states such as New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania show much closer margins, and multiple counties known to have a high concentration of Jews showed a similarly large shift.
Whether this is all do to the increased voting power of Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox Jews or whether this represents a general shift of American Jews to the right remains to be seen.
