A new poll conducted by Emerson for The Hill and released today (Thursday) shows both presidential candidates in a dead heat in the race for the White House, but with Trump either tied or enjoying a slight edge in the key swing states.

According to the poll, Trump leads Harris by one point in North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. He is tied in Michigan and Wisconsin, and is only one point behind Harris in the state of Nevada.

A plurality of voters in all swing states view the economy and immigration as the key issues of this election, while issues like "threats to democracy" and "abortion access" are lower on the priority list.
