If you listen to Vice President Kamala Harris speaking since she replaced became the Democrat Party's Presidential candidate, you will have heard her say, “I am not Joe Biden.”
But she isn't finding it easy to be both Biden's Vice President and his potential replacement.
In fact, when she appeared on ABC’s “The View” two days ago (Tuesday), they asked her if she would have done anything differently than Biden over the last four years. Harris immediately said that “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”
This isn't good news for her voters though. Under Biden and Harris, the world is not doing too well. Russia invaded Ukraine and the Middle East conflict, which the Biden administration has tried desperately to stop, has just expanded to Lebanon.
Instead of highlighting how exactly she will be different, she makes sweeping statements about “the significance of the next generation of leadership” and how her own personal experiences will influence her presidency, should she get elected.
She also recently said, "I am not Donald Trump."
It seems that either she is trying to make everyone happy, staying loyal to Biden and trying to put distance between them at the same time– or she only knows who she is not, but not who she is.
With less than 28 days to go until the elections, pollsters keep telling us the same thing: It's going to be a very tight race and it's anybody's guess who the winner will be.
