The British Jewish community is mobilizing to create a permanent memorial statue honoring all victims of the October 7 attacks. The crucial next step is identifying a suitable location for this public, accessible, and secure monument.

The initiative, led by Lisa and Michael Marlowe—the parents of Jake Marlowe, the 26-year-old British-Israeli murdered by Hamas terrorists at the Nova music festival—is dedicated to remembering all October 7 victims.

In a recent op-ed for the Jewish Chronicle, the Marlowes urged the Jewish community in Britain to support this endeavor, emphasizing the need for such a memorial: “It is our deep conviction that establishing a permanent tribute for all those murdered on that tragic day is not just a necessity, but an imperative for our community.”

The Marlowes have outlined a vision for the memorial: a metal structure crafted from materials with profound connections to the events of that day—such as metal from The Nova Site, kibbutzim, the IDF, Magen David Adom, the police, and the Car Graveyard. This material will be shaped by an Israeli sculptor, creating a monument that embodies resilience, unity, and remembrance.
