According to reports released today (Monday) by media outlets in the isolated country, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw a series of tests of suicide UAVs, and pledged to promote the development of similar weapons to strengthen the military's war readiness in the country.

During the tests, the North Korean leader watched what he called "suicide drones" taking off and destroying test targets, including a dummy tank.

According to local news agency KCNA, Kim called for the production of additional UAVs used by tactical infantry units and special operations units, such as suicidal underwater attack UAVs, as well as strategic reconnaissance UAVs and multi-purpose attack UAVs. These weapons, which have received the nickname "wandering ammunition", are used by the fighting forces in Ukraine as well as in the Middle East.
