Congressmembers Ilhan Omar and Jamaal Bowman, known as some of the most anti-Israel members of the so called "squad" celebrated reports today (Tuesday) that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was selected as Kamala Harris' running mate for the Democratic ticket in the November elections.

Both Omar and Bowman, who was recently defeated by a primary opponent backed by pro-Israel voters, posted tweets on X celebrating the decision, with Bowman saying "It's Walz baby let's go!"

Liberal Jewish "pro-Israel, pro-peace" lobby J Street also sent out a fundraising email a short time ago today, praising Vice President Kamala Harris for reportedly picking Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.

The letter stated that "J Street is all in with Kamala Harris – and we’re thrilled with the reported selection of Tim Walz as her running mate" and that "A Harris-Walz administration will fight for our shared values, protect our community and our democratic freedoms, and pursue smart, pro-Israel, pro-peace leadership abroad."
