A Harvard/Harris poll released today (Tuesday) shows Trump retaining a narrow but robust lead on Kamala Harris in the race to the Presidency. The poll shows Trump leading Harris 48-45 with the option of not being sure and 52-48 if voters had to choose between them.

While Joe Biden is no longer running for reelection, his approval ratings may affect the race. 56% of those polled said that Biden is getting worse as a President. Meantime, 54% say they at least somewhat approve of Trump's job as President.

Regarding the rival parties, both suffer from more disapproval than approval, but the GOP has 47% approval compared to the Democrats' 45%. The Democrats hold a generic ballot edge of 45-42 if there are third party options, but without one, the GOP leads four points, 52-48.

Both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump now have about even favorability, with Trump at 48-48 approval/disapproval, and 47-47 for Harris.

Trump is winning with men 53-41, those without a high school degree 53-40, and those with an education short of a BA 49-43. Harris is winning with women 48-44, and those with a BA 48-45.

Trump wins with Whites 54-39, gets a historic 25% of the Black vote (Harris gets 67), and is statistically tied with Harris for Hispanics, 44-47. Among those of Asian origin, Harris wins 50-35.
