Republican nominee Donald Trump spoke in Deal, NJ on Sunday, where he explained to a community with a lot of Syrian Jews how he was far more pro-Israel than his opponent Kamala Harris, according to a partial transcription by Jewish Insider.
Trump addressed the Majdal Shams attack, saying "We have a bigger problem with Israel. Israel is under siege. Israel is under attack. That was a big weapon that came yesterday and killed 13 beautiful children and I’ve never seen such graphically displayed death not on a battlefield."
Trump then proceeded to remind voters of his pro-Israel record: "I got the Golan Heights for you. They didn’t even ask for it. I recognized the capital of Israel...I got the capital of Israel, Jerusalem, and very importantly, I got the embassy built."
Regarding Iran, he said "Iran was broke when I was president. You couldn’t buy oil there and if you did buy oil or anything else and helped them, you were under sanctions like nobody’s ever seen before. If you did buy, you couldn’t do business with the U.S. I was tested by four countries…they were immediately cut off and after that they were very nice, very good. Iran had no money...Whether Hamas or Hezbollah, they all get their money from Iran, nobody wants to talk about it. Biden is pathetic, he doesn’t want to talk about it."
Trump ended by attacking Democrats as not being pro-Israel, saying Senate Majority Leader has become "Palestinian" and saying that Kamala Harris hates Israel.
