Venezuelan Opposition Leader María Corina Machado gave a press conference claiming that opposition candidate Edmundo González actually won the Presidential election, which the official state election committee claims was won by incumbent Nicolas Maduro, according to Voz.

During the press conference, Machado said that they had secured access to 73.20% of the electoral records, which show that Gonzalez obtained 6,275,182 votes, while current President Nicolas Maduro received 2,759,256 votes, thus giving the opposition leader a landslide victory.

Machado also said that they were working on launching a website containing all the information to confirm her allegations.

The controversy over whether the election was stolen has led to numerous protests and even riots throughout cities in Venezuela.
