Trump Slams Harris’ Meeting with Netanyahu as ‘Terrible and Insulting’

Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate and former U.S. president, criticized Vice President Kamala Harris' recent meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling it "terrible and insulting," according to Ynet news sources.

Trump, who had met with Netanyahu in Florida the day before, argued that Harris' perceived incompetence would only extend the conflict in Gaza and delay the release of hostages.

Trump also pointed out that Harris did not preside over the Senate during Netanyahu's congressional address, and he condemned the administration's handling of the situation. He said, "The same people who embarrassed us in Afghanistan with their gross incompetence are now telling Israel to stop fighting Hamas. Forget October 7th, they say! Any Jewish voter who supports Kamala or a Democrat should have their head examined."

In response, Harris described her meeting with Netanyahu as "frank and constructive" and reaffirmed her "unwavering commitment" to Israel’s security, while also acknowledging the severe humanitarian situation in Gaza. Following the meeting, Netanyahu’s office expressed concern that Harris’s comments about the humanitarian crisis could potentially "hinder a deal" for the release of hostages, suggesting that Hamas might view these comments as indicative of a rift between the U.S. and Israel.

Trump, speaking in front of Netanyahu, criticized Harris for her remarks about Israel, claiming they were "not very nice."
