He said, "The same people who embarrassed us in Afghanistan with their gross incompetence are now telling Israel to stop fighting Hamas. Forget October 7th, they say! Any Jewish voter who supports Kamala or a Democrat should have their head examined."
In response, Harris described her meeting with Netanyahu as "frank and constructive" and reaffirmed her "unwavering commitment" to Israel’s security, while also acknowledging the severe humanitarian situation in Gaza. Following the meeting, Netanyahu’s office expressed concern that Harris’s comments about the humanitarian crisis could potentially "hinder a deal" for the release of hostages, suggesting that Hamas might view these comments as indicative of a rift between the U.S. and Israel.
