US Central Command announced yesterday (Monday) that US forces had destroyed four radars in Houthi-controlled areas, as well as a drone ship.

These strikes follow a number of successful Houthi attacks against commercial vessels, the M/V Tutor and the M/V Verbena, in and near the Red Sea last week. The Tutor had to be abandoned, while the Verbena was able to continue on to its destination.

CENTCOM had stepped up its rhetoric and condemnation of Houthi attacks and Iranian support for them in its public statements when discussing the attacks on these vessels and their aftermath.
