Report: Suspect arrested in shooting at Montreal yeshivah last November

The shooting was one of a number of violent attacks on Jewish institutions in Montreal since October 7.

Montreal authorities say that they have arrested a suspect - 20-year old Abdirazak Mahdi Ahmed - in the shooting attack at the Yeshiva Gedola School of Montreal last November, according to The Gazette.

Per The Gazette, the suspect has been charged intentionally discharging a firearm, on Nov. 12, at a location knowing that a person might be inside, as well as theft and receiving stolen vehicles.

The shooting is one of a number of violent attacks on Jewish institutions since October 7, including a shooting at Jewish schools four days before the aforementioned incident, and Molotov cocktails thrown at a synagogue and community center the week before.
