After current President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump agreed to meet for a showdown ahead of the November elections, it was reported yesterday (Wednesday) that the two will hold a debate on June 27 on the CNN network. A second debate between the candidates will take place on September 10 on ABC.

As a reminder, earlier in the day it was reported that Biden invited his Republican opponent to two debates ahead of the US presidential elections this November. Trump told the "Fox News" network that he agreed to the offer.

According to reports in the American media, Biden proposed holding two debates in June and September, alongside another one between the Vice Presidential candidates to be held in July. "Trump lost two debates against me in 2020, and since then he has not appeared for any debate," Biden said in a video he posted on social media. "Now he claims that he wants to have another confrontation with me - so with respect I will even agree to two debates with you."

In response, Trump said that he agrees to the proposal. "I'm ready. The proposed dates are fine," he clarified. "I will debate anywhere and anytime. Let's see if Joe can make it to the podium," he quirked.
