German Heron TP drone, developed by Israel, flies for first time on German soil

The drone, adapted to the needs of the German Army, launched its maiden flight in the presence of senior German officers and representatives of the Defense Ministry and Israeli military industry.

Today (Wednesday), the Heron TP drone, developed by Israeli military industry, took its maiden flight on German soil, in the presence of senior German officers and representatives of Israeli military industries.

The drone was developed by the Israeli Military Industries, the Defense Ministry's Directorate of Defense, Research, and Development, and Airbus.

According to Satellite Revolution, the drone "is equipped with means to conduct optical and imaging radar reconnaissance, while providing options for additional SIGINT (signals intelligence) as well as maritime surveillance capabilities."
