Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan revealed today (Monday) that more than a thousand Hamas terrorists are being treated in hospitals throughout the country. During a press conference after his meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Erdogan claimed that he does not see Hamas as a terrorist organization, but a "resistance movement."

"I am saddened by the Greek view that sees Hamas as a terrorist organization," Erdogan said in his statement. "I don't see Hamas as a terrorist organization. On the contrary, I see Hamas as a resistance movement of people who fight to protect their land and their people."

Mitsotakis responded to Erdogan: "We will agree to disagree on this."
