Republican Senator Tom Cotton today called on the houses of representatives to start an impeachment process against President Biden as a result of the delays in arms shipments to Israel.
The well-known American senator and well-known friend of Israel reacted angrily to the delays imposed by the Biden administration. Cotton accused Biden of "hurting Israel in order to increase his chances of being elected for a second term."
Cotton also published a message on social media in which he explained that: "The House has no choice but to impeach Biden based on the Trump-Ukraine precedent of withholding foreign aid to help with reelection. Only with Biden, it’s true."
Since it was revealed that the Biden administration was delaying arms shipments to Israel, the President has received a lot of ire from the Republican side of the House of Representatives, just after those same Republicans allowed the passage of an unpopular aid package to Ukraine.
