The New York Times reported today (Tuesday) that the United States is outraged by Hamas's conduct in hostage negotiations. According to the report, last weekend American officials conveyed a message to the terrorist organization through intermediaries and stated that their answer to the proposal was unacceptable.

In light of this, Hamas decided to formulate a different answer and finally announced yesterday that they had accepted a ceasefire between the parties. The Biden administration was reportedly outraged by this and stated that the group was creating difficulties instead of agreeing to points already approved by Israel.
