Media bodies and groups linked to the Syrian opposition reported an airstrike in the Kfar Sousa neighborhood of Damascus. Videos from the scene show a precise attack on a specific building.

The neighborhood of Kfar Sousa in the heart of Damascus has been linked to Hezbollah and Iran's Revolutionary Guards operating from the country. Around 16 years ago, the head of Hezbollah's military wing and the organization's number 2, Imad Morenia, was killed in the same area.

Arab media reported that the target of the attack was apparently a senior Iranian figure operating in the Damascus area, and that at least two people were killed in the strike.
