American officials told CNN today (Wednesday) that the Biden administration will not set conditions for the provision of military aid to Israel, this despite the heavy pressure recently exerted on US President Joe Biden to stop the transfer of weapons or condition it on the expansion of humanitarian aid and efforts to avoid killing civilians.

According to the report, the sources made it clear that the US has no plans to change its position and set limits or red lines around military aid to Israel. This is in contrast to the US's attitude towards Ukraine, where the White House conditioned the supply of weapons in exchange for a commitment that Ukraine would not attack with American weapons in the territory of Russia.

According to the sources, the US already expects its allies and partners to use American equipment in accordance with international humanitarian law. They also emphasized Israel's practice of embedding military attorneys in the various units, who determine in advance whether an attack is proportionate or not.

As a reminder, last night Biden expressed unusual criticism towards Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said that he needs to "change his position" regarding the two-state solution - when, according to him, he will not be able to do so with the current composition of his government. He also said that "Netanyahu cannot say 'no' to a Palestinian state in the future."

"Netanyahu is a good friend, but I believe he needs to make a change. This government in Israel makes it very difficult for him to move forward," claimed Biden. According to him, "Israel is starting to lose support because of the indiscriminate bombings."
