Threats Against Jews at the Lighting of the Hanukkah Candles: "We will Kill You All"

The wave of anti-Semitism in the USA: pro-Palestinian demonstrators waited for the Jews at the exit of the candle lighting ceremony and directed threats towards them: "We will kill all of you, occupiers."

At the end of the candle lighting in Washington, a number of pro-Palestinian demonstrators waited at the exit of the hall for the Jews who participated in the ceremony and threatened them, "We will kill all of you, occupiers", as was published on the Twitter page of "Kan News". Yesterday (Tuesday), the Anti-Defamation League announced that since the beginning of the war on the seventh of October, there has been a historic increase of 337 percent in the cases of anti-Semitism in the USA.

According to the data, a total of 2,031 anti-Semitic incidents were recorded, compared to 465 incidents during the same period in 2022, an increase of 337 percent. The incidents include 40 cases of physical assault, 337 cases of vandalism, 749 cases of verbal or written harassment and 905 demonstrations that include anti-Semitic rhetoric, expressions of support for terrorism against the State of Israel and/or anti-Zionism. On average, during the last 61 days, Jews in America experienced almost 34 anti-Semitic incidents per day.

Two days ago, during the candle lighting, President Biden addressed the rise in anti-Semitism. "The increase in anti-Semitism in the US and around the world is sickening. He also stated that "there is no place for hatred in America against Jews, Muslims or anyone else."
