Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spoke today (Wednesday) with Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, expressing his condolences for the murder of Thai citizens during the Hamas terror attack of October 7.
During their conversation, Netanyahu told his Thai counterpart that Israel is making every effort to free the hostages held by Hamas, including Thai citizens. The Prime Minister also added that the wounded with foreign citizenship were being treated just as well as Israeli citizens. Netanyahu also expressed appreciation for the Thai workers and their contribution to the Israeli economy and he expressed his hope that the terror attack would not prevent the return of the workers who left.
The Prime Minister’s Office also reported that Netanyahu spoke this evening with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the third time since the outbreak of the war. The Prime Minister provided the Chancellor with a survey of the fighting and thanked him for his support for Israel.
