With a ceasefire set to reportedly come into force within days and even hours, the IDF struck a particularly large number of Hezbollah targets in the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut, including command and control centers of the Hezbollah Executive Council.
The IDF said these strikes harmed the ability of the Council to direct and aid Hezbollah terrorists in attacking Israel and IDF forces, as well as the terrorist organization's command and control capabilities and its ability to rebuild and gather information.
