The Iranian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates said a short time ago today (Sunday) that it "categorically rejects" claims that Iran was involved in the kidnapping and murder of Rabbi Tzvi Kogan, a Chabad shaliach in the UAE.

This statement came following a statement by the UAE that the country had apprehended three people suspected for the kidnapping and murder of Rabbi Kogan. The UAE said that they would not release further details or information until the investigation was completed.

Prime Minister Netanyahu called the attack an "antisemitic terror attack" and thanked the UAE for its efforts to investigate the case and bring the perpetrators to justice.

According to a senior source speaking to Reuters, Rabbi Kogan's body is set to be brought back to Israel for burial.
