BREAKING: Shooting incident in Ramat Gan - 2 injured, one of them seriously

Two people were injured this evening, one of them seriously, in a violent incident in Ramat Gan. The two were evacuated to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer. The police suspect the background of the incident is criminal, but investigations are under way.

Two young men, around 25 years old, were injured, one of them seriously, as a result of gunfire in a violent incident in Ramat Gan. The rescue forces that arrived at the scene evacuated the injured to Ichilov and Sheba Tel Hashomer hospitals, where they are suffering from penetrating injuries.

From the Israel Police, it was reported that one suspect was arrested at the scene, and the background of the incident is criminal.

MDA emergency medical technician Avi Raymond recounted: "We arrived at the scene and saw two injured individuals lying unconscious on the road, after being involved in a violent incident. We immediately provided both of them with life-saving medical treatment, which included stopping the bleeding, bandaging, and administering medication. And we urgently evacuated the two injured to the hospital, with one in serious condition and the other in moderate condition."
