Shortly before the start of Shabbat, a Haredi Jewish man, mistakenly entered the area of Abu Dis, near Jerusalem.
Local residents reportedly attacked the vehicle, setting it on fire. The Civil Administration received reports of the incident, and immediately initiated coordination efforts with Palestinian authorities to secure the driver's safety.
Through successful coordination between Israeli and Palestinian officials, the driver was extracted from the situation and safely transferred back to Israeli territory. No serious injuries were reported in the incident.
