Arab reports on the series of IDF strikes in the Syrian capital of Damascus today (Thursday) are contradictory, with some saying that it was an assassination attempt and others saying that it was an attack against Palestinian Islamic Jihad sites in the capital.

According to Roi Kais, sources speaking to the Saudi outlet al-Hadath said that at least one of the Damascus strikes was an attempted assassination, while other sources say the IDF was striking sites belonging to Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which works with Hezbollah in the area.

Unofficial Syrian sources say there are at least three dead from the Damascus strikes.
