Forces of the 162nd Division continue to operate in the Gaza Strip, and have recently been focused on the Beit Lahiya area, now cut off from the rest of Gaza City.

During the course of operations, IDF forces located and destroyed a number of loaded and ready to launch rocket launchers aimed at the Gaza Perimeter. They also discovered military equipment, AK-47s, and weapons parts.

The forces have eliminated dozens of terrorists and also destroyed a structure where terrorists were holed up during the fighting.
