Terror ramming attack

Breaking: car ramming attack at checkpoint, 2 Israelis injured

Two Israelis were injured in a Palestinian car-ramming attack at a checkpoint in the West Bank on Monday evening. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the attack occurred during an operation in the town of al-Khader when a Palestinian suspect deliberately accelerated his vehicle towards IDF troops, breaching the checkpoint.

Emergency responders treated two Israelis at the scene for light injuries. The attacker fled the scene, and the IDF has since launched a manhunt to apprehend him. The military characterized the incident as a deliberate vehicular assault.

In related news, a similar attack took place last Wednesday, when two Israelis were wounded in a combined car-ramming and stabbing assault at a bus stop near Shiloh in Samaria. The attacker was killed by an armed civilian at the scene.

Earlier in November, on November 3, Hamas militants fired on the Shahak Industrial Park near Shaked in northern Samaria, but no casualties were reported.

From January to July 2024, the region saw over 500 terrorist attacks per month, with a total of 3,272 recorded incidents, including rock-throwing, Molotov cocktail attacks, and shootings. These attacks resulted in 14 fatalities and over 155 injuries.
