Following the pogrom in Amsterdam: The IDF will send a delegation of rescue and medical teams.

The Foreign Ministry reports that in the lynching incident of Maccabi Tel Aviv fans in Amsterdam, there are 10 injured and three missing. Israelis in the Dutch capital were instructed not to leave their hotels.

The IDF spokesperson announced shortly ago that following the severe and serious violent events against Israelis in Amsterdam, under the guidance of the political echelon and following an assessment of the situation, the IDF is immediately preparing to send a rescue delegation in coordination with the Dutch government.

The delegation will depart on transport planes and will include medical and rescue teams. The Home Front Command is leading the rescue operation in collaboration with the branches, various divisions of the IDF, and security agencies. The Ministry of Transportation notes that three additional flights have been added to evacuate Israelis from Amsterdam by the three Israeli companies, in addition to the three existing flights.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar held a situation assessment due to the serious events in Amsterdam where hundreds of Arabs beat Israeli fans after the match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ajax. According to the information currently in the possession of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are ten injured (the severity of the injuries is unknown) and 3 missing persons. The Israeli consul was instructed to go to Amsterdam and check the hospitals.

Additionally, the minister instructed to immediately reinforce the embassy in the Netherlands with representatives from embassies in neighboring countries. The Foreign Ministry estimates, based on various reports, that the situation has been calming down in the past hour. The current instruction for Israelis is still not to leave the hotels.

The National Security Headquarters is advising the Israeli public staying in Amsterdam following the incidents of attacks on Israelis: to avoid movements in the streets and to stay confined in hotel rooms, and to refrain from displaying Israeli/Jewish symbols.

Additionally, the local police must be immediately informed of any threat/attack incident, and the local Israeli representation must be updated at the phone number 0031646312161. Additionally, you can call the Foreign Ministry's Situation Center at 02-5303155.

The National Security Council recommends that anyone who can should bring their flight back to Israel forward. It will be emphasized that an increase in flights back to the country is expected.
